  It is all I expected and more I use the light in my armory for inspections and the pointer is really handy when teaching classes. I maybe forced to buy several more.

  At the clearance price, this is worth buying just for the batteries, I have a few items that need LR44 batteries. You get 6 and a free flashlight and laser pointer.

  I am in the piano and electric organ and piano business and have tight corners where I need to have light and a big flashlight or even the new "headlight" flashlights do not get the light to where I need it. With it's "snake" head I can get the light to the point I need to see and it works great. If I do need to point something out to a customer, the Laser pointer is excellent to pinpoint the area that I am explaining to them. I like them enough (and after a little rough handling and in and out of my pocket they show wear) that I bought a stock to hold me for a few years.

  Cute toy. Useful for bore inspection with the flexible gooseneck with a single white LED. The cats like to chase the red laser around. The disadvantage to the laser is that the switch is a momentary on, so its always a hands on affair to keep the laser on so that renders it pretty useless if you wanted to attach it by the magnetic base to something and use it for a visual alignment tool. Comes with 3 spare LR44 batteries. Of the dozen I've opened so far, only 1 had a weak battery set. These show up at gun shows for more than MCM's price without the bubble packaging and without the spare batteries.
