  This Light is very nice.. The shape of the case allows it to lay on it's side and stand on end unlike other lights that I own.. I use the light to shine into dark areas when working on electronic items, such as a computer. This leaves both my hands free, not having to hold the light..

  I have a travel van that I wanted to put in some interior lighting. I screwed up some flat metal bars I got at the hardware store to the van interior wall and used the magnet on the back of these lights to fasten to the metal bar. This was easier than trying to fish 12V wire around for a permanent light in the interior of the van. Bright light when I want it and portability also when needed.

  The unit works great for the confined spaces of remote cabinets housing controls. The ease of battery exhange is much better than always having to carry recharged 12v or 18v nicads into the tight spaces. Works great!

  I had bought 1 of these Light bars to check whether it would satisfy my need as emergency lighting, but it performed so well that I bought 5 more. Produces a bright white light. It has a hook for hanging the light and magnets for mounting on refridgerator or other metal surface. The hook is rather cheap, but more than good enough to hold the weight of the light bar. It works great, and provides more than enough light for use during the numerous power failures that our home goes through. I just turn them ON, lay them on a shelf or table facing toward the ceiling, and I can provide an illuminated home that is safe to walk through during ower outages. Being that these are LED lights, I feel comfortable with leaving them on while we sleep (in case anyone has to get up in the middle of the night) because I know they will still be going strong when I wake up the next morning. I have started replacing my older incandesent emergency lighting with these LED Light Bars. I plan to buy more.
