The original supplier of my dishwasher was unable to order the front replacement panel that was damaged in shipping. They referred me to MCM; who could obtain the panel for me. I placed my order on-line and it was quickly filled. I received the panel 3 days ago and opened the package the next day. I was pleased to see how well it was packed in the carton but after removing the final layer of bubble wrap and inspecting the panel; 3 of the 4 corners were dented.
I called MCM that morning to see about a replacement. The Customer Service Rep was very nice and helpful. She got me an RA number and told me to put the panel back in the carton, send it to the address on the back of the receipt. Pre-pay the shipping and to be sure to indicate on the outside, what the shipping costs were and they would reimburse the shipping when they received the package.
It was apparent to me that both their US supplier and they were not negligent in packing the panel properly for shipping. It appears to have been done at the point of origin; most likely South Korea or the boat that it came over on; since it was packed so well from the MCM's US supplier (MCM just put their shipping label over their suppliers label and shipped it to me).
I do tons of on-line shopping and usually get superb customer service whenever there is a problem. So far I would have to say that MCM's ranks right up there at the top with the upper tier of on-line providers. I hope the replacement is in perfect condition.
I will definitely do future business with MCM Electronics; so far great customer service and great prices!
I have been dealing with MCM for over 30 years now. If I didn't like the service I'd would have found a different supplier 30 years ago. For most of my needs they are the 1st stop on my shopping list.
