  I converted all my professional systems to genuine Speakon connectors, for two reasons. Quick set up, correct phase, and reliable connection during the show. Other connectors have been kicked out by exuberant musicians and fans during a show. Not so with Speakon. And connections are quick, and reliable. I only had one instance of a problem using Speakon connectors. That was a circumstance in which the Speakon compatible connector on a monitor was not manufactured to the same tolerances of the genuine Neutrik Speakon connector, and the connection was intermittent. Replaced the Speakon compatible connector with genuine Neutrik Speakon, and the problem went away, never to return. There is no substitute for doing it right. And this is a very right way of doing things. I highly recommend Speakon connectors.
