    ... but the tips go way too fast. The iron heats up almost instantly. If, however, you want to solder model railroad trackwork, the tips cannot stand up to the heat very long. Used my iron for a week every day soldering about 50 feet of nickel silver track and the tip is completely burned. Otherwise, this is a very good tool.
