This dual technology detector features both microwave detection and Quad zone logic passive infrared detection. The DX-40 improves security by supervising PIR and Microwave signals and reporting either PIR masking or microwave failure. Microwave shaping creates an 85¡ pattern which "fits" rooms better, simplifies installation, and reduces microwave spillage. "Quad Zone Logic" PIR technology provides "Pet Immunity" while still maintaining high catch.
