  By far the best Rack drawer I have found on the market. I first purchased a 2 drawer unit to see the quality of the drawer - when I got it, I was shocked at the heavy construction and the smooth, quiet drawer slides. I have bought rack drawers from 3 other manufacturers and all have been from "ok" at best to poor. The plastic latch on the seems to lead me to believe that the spring may wear out eventually, but by far this is a very quality product. This will be the only rack drawer I buy from this point forward for all of my pro sound rental racks of gear. MCM offers them at a great price and often with the specials that they offer, it's a great buy!

  I am in the business of supplying sound and video equipment installed in cabinets for fixed and mobile use. I find this drawer of good quality (fit and finish) and at a completive price. We use the drawer to store microphones and microphones cables. For microphones, a non slip drawer padding is all you need (you can find this at the most home stores). The drawer is heavy enough to use for storage of operator manuals, tool and supplies. Having looked at other products, this one works best for us.
