2 Channel Ground Loop Isolator

Almost all 60Hz AC hum is caused by ground loops that act like radio antennae (loop antenna). The Hum Eliminator completely eliminates this by breaking the ground loop, making it impossible for the signal lines to pick up the AC hum and noise in the first place.

Unbalanced lines are more susceptible to picking up electrical noise and RF interference than balanced lines - the longer the unbalanced cable, the greater the chance of a problem. Using this device to connect two pieces of equipment is one of the most cost-effective ways to convert between unbalanced signals and true balanced signals. Automatically translates signal voltages to match difference in ground potentials.

why pay for a high priced brand, when this item can do the job... i run these thru balanced connections, just before the connections go to the amplifier.... these units are fairly well built and easy to install... it really helps to get rid of the cycle buzz/hum, no signal loss or distortion, just a clean thru signal... if you do, or don't even have any hum from your system it is good to have these gems put in......

    Works perfect

This is the second one of these I've bought. The first was used to take the ground loop hum out of my subwoofers. I had been fighting the low level hum for years and finally tried this unit because, for the price, it was well worth the effort. I was very suppressed and pleased. Both subs are dead quiet now. Next, something happened when I moved some equipment. I picked up some ground hum from my turntable when I set the needle down on the LP. So, I thought I'd give it another try. Surprise!! PERFECT. Dead quiet. Highly recommended.
