I bought ten of these lights. The spikes have to be glued in if you want them to stay on. The light they give off doesn't come even close to being bright. Just a faint "moon-glow". I suspect that's because the lens is not clear and the led is tiny. They simply are not worth the price. I say that because I have others that are the same price and are very bright.
I bought these from MCM when they had them at a reduced price, (about $2.00 each). Better to wait for that sale again.
Now for the "good": they charge well with little direct sunlight and are fairly solidly made. I use them when we go camping and place one atop each 6X6 shin-height post the forestry used to delineate the roadside perimeter and campsite spurs. Saves me from banging my shins on them in the darkness at night. The soft glow reflects off the white side oft RV and gives a nice glow to it and the footpath. Just be advised that these are not like the solar "Malibu" types.
The lights shine so bright. They were a wonderful addition to my flower bed.
