      Good basic amp

      Overall: 4.5 out of 5

Pretty close to 250w @ 8 ohms. Been running one 24/7 for about 3 months now. But, yes, the rack ears are not standard. I had to drill holes to get it to fit.

      Clean power

      Overall: 5 out of 5

Been over a year now and it works just like the day it came. A very nice amp. For me it was a great choice. Compact and powerful. low noise and does the job it was made for very well.

Light-weight and feature typical amplifier options

      Overall: 4.5 out of 5

I was surprised by the weight of this amp but it works great! I bought a flight case to mouse two of these amps in.

The only caveat that I noticed is that the rack ears on it seem too wide. I've tried to mount this on my band mate's rack but the rack ears are just a little too wide. It almost wouldn't fit correctly in the flight case I mentioned.

Despite possible racking issues, great amp!

      Great quality product

      Overall: 5 out of 5

I purchased the first of my now 2 PTA1000's for my band's monitor rig. I was not looking for overly inpressive quality and power compared to my Crown power amps. I was wrong. These amps are quiet, great power capability even running stereo mode and powering 1, 8 ohm monitor cabinet. The clarity of the sound even running without an EQ or processor is outstanding. With effects, it still remains very quiet and achieves absolute clarity. We plan to purchase another PTA1000 to complete the power section of our montor rig. And we are so impressed with the Pyle Pro product that we are very seriously considering replacing some older monitor speaker with Pyle Pro. Great product. Great price.

      Distant Thunder Sounds

      Overall: 4.5 out of 5

I have used this amp at various venues and it is a very rugged and clean amp for it's price, I like the light weight because it makes it very portable. I plan to buy more of these amps in the near future along with it bigger sisters which have higher power ratings.
