  I believe this to be a great product for the money. Solid metal case, and major options for different cord types. The battery port should be accessable by some means other than a screw, but that shouldn't be a major issue unless the tester uses batteries at an alarming rate.

  We cant say enough good things about this tester. When I was shopping for testers for our inspection benches I was expecting the same old thing, XLR, RCA and 1/4". Then I found this thing! Cat5, USB, DMX and NL4 and more!. But when I seen the NL8 I was sold! Good looking metal case, solid selector switch and bright LEDS. This one box let me do away with 3 older testers. This is not a tone generator or signal generator. This is one solid tester that can take our day to day inspection needs and ask for more!
