The eXtenHD line is a professional series of HDMI video products designed for amplification, distribution, and testing of HDMI sources and displays.

HDMI to component (YCbCr/YPbPr) convertor with audio output. It allows you to switch between 2 HDMI sources and convert it to component and analog audio (L/R) or digital audio output at the same time. It supports output resolutions equal to the source input up to 1080p.

    Appears to be an excellent quality item and would have been ideal for my older HD TV with no HDMI inputs and only one HD Component input, but my cable box/DVR HDMI output is HDCP copy protected. This product produced only a black screen when the cable box tuner was tuned to HD channels, but did generate pictures in 480i and 480p, from the analog channels. I have been unable to find another similar product elsewhere. Tech support people at MCM and Sima were very proficient and helpful.
