Mast Mount Antenna Signal Amplifier
High gain signal amplifier is intended for installation to the vertical mast, directly after the receiving antenna. This ensures that the maximum signal is amplified and not feedline noise. The fully weatherproof housing includes a nylon tie for attaching to the mast pipe, plus it has keyhole openings for wall or attic joist mounting. It provides very linear +30dB gain from 50MHz~860MHz, ensuring solid performance for all VHF /UHF high definition television reception, as well as standard FM and HD radio.

    Totally Worthless!

    Overall: 1 out of 5

This was a total waste of money (I AM returning it!) and a waste of a great deal of labor to install/find out it did not work at all/uninstall. My reception was actually worse than before I installed it and I followed the instructions to the letter. Do NOT waste your money and time on this product.

As others have reported, this was DOA and not working. I'm done with MCM electronic products. Will still use them for some chemicals and parts.

    Not Worth the Time

    Overall: 1 out of 5

I must say that I was very disappointed in this product. I live in a deep fringe area. I can get "most" of the channels available to me, but some of them pixilate occasionally, and one channel will not come in at all. I purchased this to see if I could boost the signal coming in and stop the pixilation and possibly pick up the missing channel. After climbing up on the roof to install this unit, I tested signal strength and signal quality. Signal strength was actually LESS than before I installed it. Signal quality remained poor. I actually got fewer channels. The channels that would occasionally pixilate would no longer show at all. Even though it was on sale for $15, what an utter waste of time and money.

    Dead out of the box

    Overall: 1.5 out of 5

The first Amp I received was DOA. MCM customer Service was great and quickly replaced with the Amp with a second one that unfortunately was also DOA . I was not willing to waste my time on a third one

    Amp works fine, when sealed.

    Overall: 4 out of 5

I bought one of these back in the winter when my amp that came with the Stellar antenna went out. I connected it to the mast and wired the antenna straight into it, taking the original blown amp off first. I sealed all the joints of the box with a all weather silicone sealer. I was worried about summer heat, but it is still working fine in October and when the leaves are off the trees again, I can get stations over 50 miles away.
