  These headphones are well made, very sensitive so that the volume doesn't have to be very high BUT the sound is muddy. The high frequencies are muted and the bass is muddy. The Pro-Luxe PX-921 which I've had for 3 years are not as sensitive but the sound is well balanced and the bass is deep and rich. The Pro-luxe are the ones to get if you want good sounding headphones at a very low price and they are well constructed and comfortable.

  I like these headphones. They are very comfortable, their sound quality and their construction quality is very good, and their price is right. I use them for listening to classical music via computer or CD player as well as late-night DVD viewing. They are a pleasure to own. There are two "nits" I need to pick: 1) the cord is much too short; often I must use an extension, which is clunky. Also they come with only a 3.5mm plug so you must supply your own 3.5mm to 6.4mm headphone adapter should one be required and 2) the cord is thin and is attached to both headphones. However, these two "nits" are minor and, especially at this price, can be overlooked. If these had the "Sony" name on them they would probably sell for $30.00 or more. I recommend that anyone reading this buy a pair. You won't regret the purchase.
