Very best bang for the buck!

    Overall: 5 out of 5

I bought these headphones on sale just to give them a try. I bought another pair different brand more money. These are some of the best sounding headphones I have ever owned. I am buying another pair to watch tv so wife can sleep. Very, very comfortable with a great sound. Try a pair and see!

Best under $200 headphones I've ever used.

    Overall: 5 out of 5

I'm a musician and also do some recording in a studio. Up to now I used old Koss Pro-4AA's and a hundred dollar pair of closed back Sennheiser's. The latter had the best bass response and I was actually quite pleased with them.

I saw the reviews of these and at the price decided to go for two pairs. Well, that was then. I now have five pairs. I also recommended them to some guys on and several of them pulled the trigger and every one of them messaged me with raving reviews.

I can not emphasize enough just how danged good the bass response is on these puppies. One time I honestly thought I had left my subwoofer on only to find out everything I was hearing was coming from these cans. The bass is not just deep. It is flat and clear. I HATE boominess and these have absolutely NONE. They outperform the Koss AND the Sennheisers in that category.

They are so lightweight that I use them in my cubicle at work for pandora. I LITERALLY wear them during my entire time at my desk with NO discomfort (yes, I'm a cubicle rat), I've never experienced that before with headphones.

I've been into hi-fi since I sold it in the mid- to late-1970's. These things are the best deal I have ever witnessed in all those years. Seriously.

    Not bad for the price

    Overall: 4.5 out of 5

Bravo! Nice clear voice, great at presenting the subtle sounds you miss in other systems. You can hear both the lower base guitar and the higher pitch violin like your listening to each individual instrument. Better sound than my big stereo speakers, however I find them to be a little heavy on the base; great for Hall and Oats 'Maneater', not so much for Taylor Swift. Taylor does not need that overpowering heavy base sound.
I bought two pair so the wife and I can use them for the computers and not disturb each other. Full volume on the computer is not terribly loud. I really like the long cord. Great to be able to get up and move around while listening to music or whatnot.

    Wow! Impressive Sound!

    Overall: 5 out of 5

I really did not know what to expect ordering these headphones. I am used to $250.00 Koss pro line headphones. I build my own speakers because I am picky about my sound, and get sound of expensive speakers for 1/3 the cost. The first time I heard these my jaw dropped. Solid low resounding Bass, all the way down, full with impact, clarity, hard hitting with accuracy. Voices are on spot, with great damping, transparency, and good stage ambiance. Treble good, not harsh, easy to listen to. Nice Mids. I have no cons with these. just pro's. These are by far, with out question the best headphones I have owned. These sound much like the $200.00 headphones I listened to at the Apple Store, and wanted. Trust me, for $24.00, these are a steal. Trust the reviews.

Stellar Labs Model-35-5960 Full Size DJ Headphones

    Overall: 5 out of 5

Read the reviews before buying this headphones. Gave my used Beat Studio headphones to my niece. The sound quality is comparable to the Beat Studio that cost 15x more. This headphones is more comfortable and light. Would considered buy this headphones for gift. Definitely would recommend this headphones to anyone.

Extreme comfort, excellent frequency response and efficiency

    Overall: 5 out of 5

I generally use these for ham radio applications. The ear cups are large enough so that they do not press on any part of ears. As a result they can be virtually worn forever without any discomfort. The long, single side feed cord is another good feature.

Listening to music is another thrill. Not only are the high and mid frequencies well covered, the low end is impressive and clean. In addition, the efficiency seems to be very good. They also appear to be mechanically rugged as well. I have several pairs and they have been my favorite headphones for some time.

    I have found the one

    Overall: 5 out of 5

I have been looking for a great quality but not to expensive set of headphones for a while now. After reading a review from someone that bought these headphones on life hacker and saying that they were inexpensive and have a great sound, I figured it was worth a shot. The highs, mids, and lows are very balanced. The 10ft cable is very long and the red color I am not entirely a huge fan of but they work and that is what I am looking for. One other thing is that after you have had them on for a while, your ears get a little sweaty. But for the price and quality I am sold. I might just by another pair.

Excellent MUST HAVE truly Professional Headphones

    Overall: 5 out of 5

From Beat-Mixing in Dance Clubs through the 90's. To FM Radio In the 2000. working Voice-Overs, and Multi-Tracking Vocals in my Home Studio. These headphones, (at the same price as Sony MDR Series) blow anything out of the water. The detailed High End takes a little getting used to, but actually is a great asset. Especially in studio work, where Digital Mix-downs need accurate and detailed clarity. They fit very comfortably, so you can enjoy the rich bass frequencies. That are smooth and tight, not punchy or hollow. You will have a hard time hearing any distortion with this set , as well. The long cord is a must have....THANK YOU!!!

Just one question? The stereo jack broke on one pair. I am trying to re-wire a new 1/4" stereo jack and need the wiring diagram. I want to be 100% sure the colors are correct. Who uses red, green and blue for a two channel sound layout??

    Before spending more...

    Overall: 5 out of 5

...try these phones. I have Sennheisers & Grados. But for the money, these are a better value. The Grados are a bit better on voice, but have much less bass. But the OA these Stellar Labs are very good, with excellent bass. Comfortable too. Got mine for $14 and $5 for shipping. A steal, if they last.

    Stellar Labs headphones

    Overall: 5 out of 5

I have now purchased 3 of these headphones. The first set was for a "bargain" set for my wife to listen to movies on her lap top. When they arrived I listened to them and with dropped jaw ordered a set for my hi fi music listening. They made my old Koss PRO 4AA set sound terrible and also a more recent JVC set sound muffled. I bought a 3rd set for a sister who is part of a pro musical group. She had a hi end set but when hearing these her jaw also dropped.
I also have several friends who, like me, are long time hi fi enthusiasts and made them aware of the 35-5960 bargains. They have several big $ sets of "cans." Each of them have now purchased 2 of the 35'5960 Phones.
What more can be said?....Oh yes, they are comfortable to wear.

    Fantastic Quality

    Overall: 5 out of 5

I am a Ham Operator. I have used a lot of headphones since 1975 and these are by far my favorite. They are very comfortable when you must have them on for long periods of time as in a Contest or just rag chewing or Net Controlling on a 4 1/2 hour long AAU net on 3855 Mhz. Perfect voice reproduction. Just can't think of a thing to improve upon with these headphones! Well worth the money.

    Top 10 Contributor

Just bought a pair on sale for $20 and must say I like them. They are a bit big, and the cord is long (10' like it says), but overall construction quality is good for the price. Sound quality is great. They provide excellent bass, very good mids and highs, and are able to play LOUD if needed. Like I said, the they are big, but the large size also makes them very comfortable. Very happy with yet another MCM purchase.
