Turn it up a notch with these long lasting DMX controllable LED par 56 equivalent lighting fixtures. Various patterns can be controlled by the beat of the music playing (adjustable sensitivity) or by manual speed adjustment. In a multi fixture setup, one unit can be used as the DMX controller, ensuring that each light is in sync. Lights can also be controlled with an external DMX controller.

    I've been using these for a year now. Never a disappointment. Great color and action. No heat. What more could you ask for. I was in a recent rollover accident (3 times down a ravine) and all my equipment was thrown everywhere. The lights had dents and dings, but all worked perfectly, unlike some of my stuff. More durable than I had imagined they would be.

    I bought the silver version when they were available. These things rock. I honestly just bought them to install in my college apartment's living room to jam out to the radio with. Me and my roommates see the best looks from people passing by as they see all the windows flashing in sync. We are officially known as "that apartment with the lights." Lol. That being said, they work great. Nice and bright. When it's dark out, one will provide enough light to move around in a room with ease. Its pretty much overkill to use all 5 that I bought. So far I've just used the built in light controller. I've linked them via the DMX master/slave dealio with no problems. Works just as it should. I will agree with the person who said the DIP switches can be a little weird at times. But it's not really too big a deal. However, the one thing that really irritated me was the cheap potentiometers on the back to control the sound sensitivity. I only had one work 'correct' out of the box. And when I mean 'correct' I mean that it had a full sensitivity range from moderate sound levels, to loud sound levels. 4 out of the 5 only responded to ultra loud beats, which just wouldn't cut it having neighbors lol. But, there is a relatively easy fix: take apart the light housing, pull out the controller board, and clean the potentiometers. (You will first want to remove the LED panel which is held on with 3 screws, then you will want to removed the metal plate bracket under that which is another three screws, then you will get to the controller board which is held on by 2 screws). After you have the board out, take a can of potentiometer/TV/Radio tuner/volume control cleaner (available at Radio Shack) and spray the heck out of the potentiometers. Make sure to aim it in under the board so it actually gets inside the potentiometer housing. Twist the heck out of the knobs while doing so, and things will start to loosen up and smooth out. Let it dry, put it back together, and you will have regained the ability for the sound sensitivity setting to work with much softer music. (I used a mulitmeter to confirm an increased range in ohm values). The potentiometers are still ultra crappy, but this makes them less crappy. Most people will probably just use a DMX controller though so I guess this doesn't really matter to most anyway. But if it does for you, there ya go, have fun.

    I bought 4 of these to add to my current setup and they work great. They have more of a true flood lighting effect and have a wide angle. One of these at 20-25 ft has a 10-12 foot coverage. Use of the included gel frame will cleanup these edges a bit and protect the LED assemble.

    I've just purchased another 4 of these to add to a previous purchase of 16. So far, the only negative I've noticed is that the DIP switches for setting mode sometimes don't seem to make connection in the desired setting until you slide them back and forth a couple of times, so that cost it a star on quality. It's pretty easy to figure out which light is wonky and reset. I use them in 3-channel mode with a LC2412, but I tested their standalone and master-slave configurations with the sync-to-sound and found those modes also work 100% as advertised. This is a great power-sipping and versatile fixture.

    While not having as many features as the more expansive brands these cans rock!! I own 24 and they work like a charm. I split between two light shows for live bands. I have used them indoors and outdoors with great results. Many compliments from bands and patrons.
