  Needed something to hook my DVR of my Security Cameras to my PIP of my TVs. My TVs on PIP mode will only display Air or Cable sources not AV sources. This wonderful device allowed me to convert my Video out of my securtiy camera dvr to channel 4 then I used a RF amplified splitter to send channel 4 to my tvs. I hook my cable companiy's dvr to my tv by hdmi and my Security camera dvr channel 4 to my F Connector. Now I can sit bck and PIP my cameras so I can watch TV and watch my porch. Wonderful product!

  It seems the satellite folks don't want you distributing the receiver box output around the house without renting a box for each TV. It wasn't worth the extra money when all we watch is local news and weather on the 13" kitchen and bedroom sets. This box fixed that problem and the fact that it shuts down when the input signal is absent is a nice power saving feature. We have a minor problem with the receiver putting out wide screen to our old CRT TV's but when they finally give out we'll get some small flat screens. Shipping was fast and it does just what we needed. You will need to get the A/V cables separately.

  This, together with a digital converter box, is allowing me to use a perfectly functional (but 25-year-old) TV set to receive over-the-air broadcasts - with very good picture and sound quality in this new world of digital TV. If your TV has direct video and audio input jacks (RCA-type jacks), you don't need a modulator - but older sets only had an antenna input (type-F jack) - here's a great way to get years more usage out of those "classic" sets! I also like the automatic power-on function (it shuts itself off when there's no input signal).

  Excellent value for the money. This unit allowed me to connect a DVD player to my wall mount LCDTV without running any additional wires through the wall. It automatically switches from passing cable TV through the box to sending the Composite video to the TV and modulating it on channel 3 or 4. No remote or switching to do. It's automatic. Loved it so much, I bought 3 more.

  The modulator allows the use of gaming system to connect to my older TV set. The device works very well for the price. I have also purchased a 5 input modulator.
