SUNIX PTE1414 allows users to connect a 34mm or 54mm wide ExpressCard to the desktop PC via a PCI Express slot. It is compliant with PCI Express base specification vision 1.1 and supports both PCI Express and USB interface ExpressCard.With this board, users can easily connect a GigaLan, Serial-ATA,FireWire IEEE1394, Bluetooth, or ExpressCard Memory card reader to their desktop.

ExpressCard Tutorial ExpressCard, the next evolution of the PC Card, combines a smaller form factor and faster performance with the PC Card reliability and ease of use. It provides compact size and the interface has a potential transfer rate of up to 500 MB/sec (or 250 MB/sec in each direction) using a single-lane (or x1) PCI Express link.
