30MHz Oscilloscope w/Frequency Counter
In addition to conventional scope functions, this model includes a five digit LCD digital display, showing frequency, voltage and time base of the inputted signal. Additionally, the Auto Time Base function automatically selects the appropriate horizontal time base for waveform display. An internal alarm advises the user when vertical/horizontal setting reaches the min or max boundary.

  After 2 years, the LCD display started messing up. At first it was one or two pixels, and now I can't tell the numbers apart. It is out of warranty. MCM says that there are no replacement parts. The Display card has TM5429 V1.3 on the part, but they cannot get it. So, I have no choice but to buy a new oscilloscope. It will not be a Tenma.

  I bought this scope for its X-Y function to use with a curve tracer to test FETs. The built in frequency counter was also important to me. Two things they don't mention are also excellent features: 1) channel gains are shown in the lighted freq counter window so you don't have to look at the knobs, and 2) the Auto Timebase button changes the sweep frequency to match the input signal so you see 2 or 3 cycles, and sweep time base is also shown in the window. Great scope, I recommend it.
