  Great little meter. I needed the DC amps for resolving an marine alternator regulation problem. Price for DC was very good and I also got an RMS voltmeter. The DC amps zero drifts a bit, but the meter has a relative function that allows a set to exact zero at .01A resolution. Meter auto shuts down if you forget to turn it off, which is a nice feature. I was so impressed with the meter that when I used the ohms scale across 480VAC and the ohms went away with a "click" (and not a big boom!) I bought an exact replacement 7226 and also the next model above it which has a 1000A capability with bigger jaws. The jaws on the 7226 will just clear a pair of paralleled 4/0 (0000) cables but you can not choose where the meter will be when the jaws are closed (sort of normal for a clamp on).
