  There are a number of flaws with this product I will address so those looking for a low cost test monitor will pass over this one and find a better product: 1) Instruction manual gets 0/5 stars. The translation is SO poor even a native english speaker like myself had trouble following what they were saying, especially on battery care where it says not to over charge but it never says how long a proper charge should be. 2) Construction: the BNC port is not part of the monitor. The Monitor ships with an adaptor cable which coverts a tiny 2.5mm audio type jack into bnc. The jack is very flimsy as is the jack to charge the unit. You have to really press the wire into the monitor to get a solid connection and it doesn't feel like it will hold out in the field. 3) There is a lot of bezel on this unit. I got a 2.5' monitor so it would sit well on my forearm however the plastic frame adds almost another 2 inches to the diagonal. 4) When you turn the unit on, the screen is dark unless it gets a signal making diagnostics problematic. You won't know if the camera isn't transmitting or your monitor isn't working. 5) the 2.5 screen is so tiny I have had a difficult time focusing cameras with it. I plan to buy a 3.5 monitor. All in all, I suggest another product from a name brand and a larger screen. The versatility is low as the video adapter cable only comes with a BNC which isn't even native to the monitor. Might as well provide coaxial adapters too.
