SATADock v4 is a perfect solution for anyone who deals with bare SATA drives. It quickly attaches drives via FireWire 800 (400* compatible) or USB. Dual FireWire 800 ports allow daisy-chaining for more versatility. The FireWire bridge chip is the 924 from Oxford Semiconductor, and it features even higher speed transfer rates compared to the original SATADock.
Gobs of utility
Generation 4 provides plenty of options. In addition to its bright new color, it has new power control features and multiple powering options. Power it via a +12V adapter (included), or power it via a standard disk drive 4-pin molex power source.

Using it is easy!
Just connect the drive to the Dock, plug in power and attach a USB cable to a host computer. That's all it takes. For more protection to the drive, a mounting plate (included) can be screwed onto the bottom of the drive to protect the drive's circuitry. |
