Cushioned grip for maximum comfort and power and through-hardened for maximum durability
I work on laptops that use a range of very small torx and philips screws. Wiha is a good brand and I have a personal micro bit set of my own in my bag, set 75992. This driver was ordered along with other drivers in response to a few problem machines with over-torqued screws that were damaging tools instead of coming out. This is a wiha T6. Tool steel is very good quality, and the tip is sufficiently precision for the screws it needs to work with. This driver specifically works well on the small T6 torx screws in Apple laptops on the hinges. The handle is larger than the other fine tools I am more used to, but some of the T6 I have had problems with recently were over-torqued and I'm thankful for the larger handle in those cases. It could use a palm endcap spinner, which it lacks. This is replacing a craftsman T6 after I twisted the tip on about 10 of them. (I'm tired of replacing tools, even if the replacements are free) I've had very good experiences with WIha tools and this tool meets my expectations of them. This specific tool was recommended to me personally by an internal tech at Apple when I brought them the problem of twisting the craftsman tools. I assume they use all Wiha there.

I have been dealing with MCM for over 30 years now. If I didn't like the service I'd would have found a different supplier 30 years ago. For most of my needs they are the 1st stop on my shopping list.
